Installer XFree86 4.x.x.

De la, plusieurs details a regler dans le fichier:
- la souris: le Device n'est souvent pas detecte
eg PS/2 => "/dev/psaux"
- l'ecran: si il est pas plug'n'play, il faut mettre "VertRefresh" et
"HorizSync" soi-meme suivant les specifs de l'ecran.
- la resolution: sera par defaut la plus grande toleree, toutes les
intermediaires etant tolerees aussi. je te laisse regler ca si ca va
pas.
Pour la 3D, je te laisse t'en remettre a NVidia.

Merci pour ta reponse. Ce que je ne comprends pas c'est que j'ai bien un
fichier XF86Config present dans /etc/X11. je l'edite je change les parametres et
cela s'agrave!
De plus apres les changements lorsque je lance startx cela plante
l'affichage, j'ouvre une autre cession les paramètres ont bien changés dans le XF86Config
je modifie a nouveau en adaptant meme resultat...
Mon moniteur Acer 54 eL, 65 mhz; Hf 30-54khz, Vf 50-120hz
Ma carte graphique une nVidia RIVA TNT2 M64 de 32 Mo (resolution maxi
1920X1200 en 16 millions de couleurs) sur le slot PCI
Le port PCI est-il responsable de ma mauvaise coinfiguration ?
