Sur le site de partimage ( http://www.partimage.org/ ), il y a écrit ceci :

On dirait que partimage utilise une technique à mi-chemin entre "dd" et
un tgz : Il récupère les blocs de données intéressantes, et laisse
tomber les secteurs vides afin de gagner de la place.
Enfin, je pense que partimage n'est pas adapté au problème de Frédéric,
vu qu'il ne semble pas être conçu pour fonctionner sur des disques de
taille différentes
