Dear NUT and MGE users,
As promised some time ago, the new MGE Point to Point software (one
station - one UPS),
called Personal Solution Pac, is now available for beta test.
This tool, which is the most complete NUT application, provides the
following features:
- autodetection of your MGE UPS (both serial and USB),
- autoconfiguration of NUT,
- fully graphical status, configuration and help (soon to come: history
and advanced configuration),
- developed using GTKmm, thus compatible with all window manager,
- generic system tray (works with Gnome and KDE ; maybe XFCE and
WindowMaker),
- packaged for the major Linux distributions (Mandrakelinux and Debian
GNU/Linux ; soon to
come: RedHat, SUSE, FreeBSD),
- released under GPL,
