Oui, sur leur site ftp, la prerelease de la 0.8 vient d'arriver (voir
mail ci-joint).

Hello,
After waiting more than a year, the moment has finally arrived: a set
of installable images of the familiar 0.8.0 prerelease! We need some
testing to iron out the little bugs and the final release is planned on
the weekend before christmas 2004.
Familiar 0.8.0 is completely build from sources using the OpemEmbedded
toolkit, making building and packaging much easier for the developers.
The changes from 0.7.2 are too many to name, but a few highlights:
* improved support for the ipaq h5xxx, zaurus and simpad machines
* SD support for ipaq h3xxx and h5xxx
* version 2.5 of GPE
* version 1.1.7 of Opie
Get all this goodness from
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.8.0-pre and the feeds are
located at
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/familiar/feeds/0.8pre/. While the
wiki is down you can check reported bugs and fixes at
http://dominion.kabel.utwente.nl/koen/familiar/.
On the first boot it will initialize a lot of services, so it might
take some minutes to come up. Some users have reported that a reboot
was necessary to make it fully working. Report problems with the
base-system to familiar@???, gpe problems to
gpe@??? and opie problems to opie@???.
