Shaman-X project aims at contributing to the management of
combinations of failures which may affect technical infrastructures of
large organizations and may lead them to serious crisis situations.
Shaman-X is just about to deliver outstanding technology which
contributes to high availability projects and will be the foundation of
Shaman-X future developments.
In the first imminent release, several "never seen before" jewels:
- High-availability architectures of many nodes across many networks,
- Disaster tolerance framework for cluster-to-cluster and room-to-room
failover,
- Interoperating between Linux, NT and other operating systems,
Later this year:
- Real-time failure detection (<500 ms),
- Apache based delocalised interface through browsers.
Shaman-X software is GPL.
Contributors of all kinds are welcome to join and Shaman-X project is also
looking for reference implementation projects.
