install SmilGen encore

Bonjour !
J'ai toujours du mal à installer SmilGen, plus précisément à comprendre
ce que fait le script python qui l'installe et à le renseigner correctement.
extrait de la doc :

On Linux systems the installer does the following:
1) Copies over the various code files and libraries that make up SMILGen.
2) Copies over the SMILGen main file.
3) Copies over the Pmw (Python Mega Widgets) library to the Lib
directory of the systems python install. (This will only occur if Pmw is
not currently installed).
4) Sets the systems PATH variable to include the path to any installed
and supported players (currently this only includes RealPlayer).
5) Sets the PYTHONPATH to include the paths to Pmw (if needed) and to
the SMILGen directory.
6) Sets a SMILGEN_PATH system variable which is the full path to the
SMILGen directory.

Jusque la tout va bien !
Là où çà se complique (pour moi :-\), c'est que ceci ne fonctionne qu'en
local ( pas encore d'install système pour tous ) ce qui signifie qu'il
doit être installé par l'utilisateur.
ceci ne devrait pas poser de pb, sauf que d'après le script python, (oui
faut bien s'y mettre) celui-ci doit aller écrire dans /usr/lib/python
qui apartiend à root.
Je sais qu'il est possible de donner des droits root à un utilisateur
pour _une_ seule action ex:
python /home/moi/SMILGen_Install_0.9.9/install.py
mais voilà j'ai oublié comment donner ces droits :-\
