A+, Marc?
La bannière :
SmoothWall is a privately funded project. It has been published under the
GNU General Public Licence since July 2000. SmoothWall is free, free as in
libre. Over three hundred SmoothWalls are installed worldwide every single
day in offices and colleges, homes and businesses. We provide you a service.
This screen will appear throughout the operation of SmoothWall from this
version onwards to make you aware that, if you use SmoothWall you should
look to donate to maintain both a subsidy of the project costs but what you
think its worth. The decision is personal - we cannot force you to donate
nor would we. If insufficient donations are made, we will modify the
SmoothWall licence and all future versions will not be made available free
on the internet for download.
If you have already donated please send an email to subs@??? with
a copy of your PayPal or NOCHEX receipt and we will send you a file to
remove all the "nagware". It's a real shame we have to do this, but when on
average 300 people install and use daily, maybe 1 person donates. With
figures like that, it's not surprising we may just change the way we work to
stay alive.
If you are a commercial business, and are unable to donate via credit,
charge or debit card please contact sales@??? for details of our
commercial level products being released late November, backed up by
commercial level support and services.
SmoothWall uses the same level of bandwidth and resources as large internet
companies would in the commercial world. It has costs - you use SmoothWall
because it reduces dramatically your costs - remember the equation.
