J'ai linux installé sur une sun4 avec une distrib RH 5.2 Ca marche tres bien !
Pour savoir si ton hardware est supporté, regarde ce qui est marque sur la console au boot et compare avec :

La distrib Red Hat Linux 5.2/SPARC décrite dans :

est disponible à :

Ca s'installe aussi facilement que sur un pc si tu as un lecteur de floppy.
Sinon il te faudra booter sur une autre machine via tftp.
