Il me semble me souvenir qu'il y a quelques temps qq'un de Guilde
cherchait des pointeurs sur un serveur X11 free pour Windows. Voila un

Free X server for Windows and Mac
MI/X: A Professional, Free, X Server for
Windows and Macintosh
MicroImages has adopted an industry standard, the X Window System
with OSF/Motif ® for the entire line of TNT products.
The X Window System is an international specification for application
development that supports standardized graphical interface design and
network processing. The X Window System provides multitasking, remote
execution, and the display of graphics on one X terminal that were generated
somewhere else in a network. X and Motif provide a single,
easy-to-use processing environment and graphical user interface for every
computer platform. UNIX workstations support the X Window System and
OSF/Motif directly. Windows and Mac computers run the TNT products
through the unique MicroImages X Server (MI/X).
MicroImages is happy to make its X Server freely available for
use on any Macintosh or Windows computers. You may want to use your
PCs as X terminals in a network environment -- MI/X works fine as an X
terminal emulator. You may also want to make your PC a true X Server
and run multiple X clients from your desktop. MI/X works fine there,
too -- after all, that's why MicroImages developed MI/X in the
first place.
If you can configure a telnet session, you know enough to use MI/X.
Since MI/X is made freely available, MicroImages cannot
respond to individual user requests for technical support.
However, MicroImages maintains MI/X as the X Server for its line of
TNT professional products, so you are likely to find MI/X a stable and
robust performer.
