mouse pb

Hello,

With red hat Revision 5.0, (October 1997),
I have a big problme to configure the mouse.

It is a square logitech 3 buttons.
after running the XF86Config, the mouse didn't work.
I used the tool called mouseconfig under /usr/sbin.
The mouse was scanned on the cua1 port.

With mouseconfig, I decided to choose the microsoft compatible.

The result is the same.

That's the reason I contact you 'cause I can't find anymore solution and I
need your help.
Is it a problem of a bad selection mouse type or a link directory problem?
